Bring out your calculator for this because it involves a bit of mathematics. Count the days to your final exams and break down a single day into study hours. For instance, depending on how close you are to the exams, you may study from 5 to 10 hours a day. You can start with fewer hours a day and then move on to more and more hours per day as the exams loom nearer.

Once you have a measure of the number of hours you’ll study each day, multiply them by the number of days you have till exams. So five hours per day multiplied by ten is a total of fifty study hours. When you have the total number of hours, divide them first by the number of subjects. Fifty study hours divided by five subjects means ten hours per each subject. The last step is to divide the number of hours per subject to the numbers of chapters or study units. Ten hours per subject divided by five chapters would give us two hours per chapter.

So there we have it. We need to assign two hours to each chapter to study five hours a day for ten days. It may sound confusing but it looks really simple when you write it all down.
