All the First Assembly of God Church in Radcliff, KY wanted to do was take some kids to an amusement park and give them a good time. Instead they got one of the worst and most notorious crashes in American history. Larry Wayne Mahoney was sentenced to 16 years in prison for driving while under the influence after he plowed his Toyota truck into this school bus that was carrying 66 passengers. 27 of them didn’t make it out of that crash alive, what did come of this tragedy though was MAAD. Founded by two of the mothers whose children were unfortunate victims of one idiot’s stupid decision to drive drunk.
