Jenny Gilmore Reed cried after she witnessed an act of kindness by a fellow customer at the McDonald’s on Morgan Road in Alabama. State Trooper Justin O’Neal purchased a meal for a homeless man headed to North Carolina who hadn’t eaten in 3 days.

When the media acknowledged the officer’s kindness, he brushed off compliments by stating that his actions were “just the right thing to do.”
