Hurricane Igor aka ‘Igor the Terrible’ hit Newfoundland, and is the strongest Hurricane to ever hit the Canadian island. It was a Category 4 hurricane and caused around 4 deaths in total, due to the fact that it had died down in intensity by the time it made landfall.

Igor the Terrible, still resulted in around $200 million in damages, which left areas in Newfoundland devastated. The picture shows the hurricane as it is rapidly developing and ready to wreak havoc once it makes landfall.
