This fun gender reveal cake is something you can make yourself for around $10, less if you use coupons. You need a couple boxes of your favorite cake mix, plus frosting and pink or blue candy. If you don’t want to find out the gender of your baby before your gender reveal party, have a trusted friend make the cake for you.

Make 4 cakes according to the directions on the packages, cutting a hole in the center of 2 of the cakes. Stack the 2 cakes with holes on top of 1 regular cake, and fill with candy. Top with another regular cake, and frost the entire thing. You can also frost the individual layers of cake as you assemble the gender reveal cake, if you wish.
