Twinspur need afternoon shade where summers are typically very hot, and full sun where summers are average climate. Instructions for taking care of twinspur include watering them regularly, feeding them at planting time and then again at summer’s end.
Spurs on the back of these species contain oils that attract bees. If you’re allergic, it may not be a good idea for you to be around these plants. They do however, go great with roses, or mass planted in beds. They thrive in the same conditions as the rose flower.
